BINDU OF SHREE CHAKRA
VERSE 178 LALITASHASRANAMA
“Bindutarpana santushta: Who is pleased with libations offered to the Bindu (the central dot in the Shri chakra).”
~ Para-Trisika-Vivarana ~
“Heart or Hrdayam is the centre of Bhairava. It is the place of repose of the Lord. The Heart is the very consciousness of Anuttara (Highest Reality); it is its most interior place of repose, the very centre of consciousness. If we take the universe as a body, it would be its very Heart, i.e.., the very essence of the universe which in other words, is a mass of sound (congealed). Hrdayam is Yonirupam, the source of all creative energy.”
“Heart is Thy Name my Lord” (Ramana Maharshi)
This Bindu of the Shree Yantra is analogous to the spiritual heart centre within us. The illuminating words from the Lalitashasranama, ParaTrisika Vivarana book by Abhinavagupta translated by Jaydeva Singh and the illuminated Rishi, Bhagwan Ramana all point towards the hridyam being the yoni swaroopam of all creativity, opulence, grace and blessings. From the heart alone can one reach the sky of nirvana.
The offerings to the Bindu of the yantra are nothing but analogous to the karuna and compassion of unconditional love offered to all living beings and even the unmanifested beings from all other dimensions other than the physical 3D realms. Only when we can truly make this aahuti of the ego and live from pure love, can we know the BINDU OF THE SHREE YANTRA.
May all live at the BINDU OF THE HRIDYAM…in peace, bliss and satiety.
