Rarely in the urban eons , one comes across such unquestioning devotion as Maa Anand Sheela. Her character, shrouded in mysteries and controversies all at once does not prohibit one to still accolade her faith & unparalleled devotion to her Guru, Bhagwan Rajneesh Osho.

She truly was his Shakti and protected him with all her life. With her one pointed conviction, the great master became available to the large masses of this world. Her calculated moves to grow the Osho community worldwide is a nobility that cannot ever be denied. Many would call her fanatic but she is an epitome of an indomitable faith sculpted in her being. Her power and divinity shines majestically without shame or cowardice even today.

Many forces tried to shake her mettle but she remained ever throned in the seat of her own power and affirmations. So much criticism, hatred and opposition could not break her untamed and free spirit. Her honesty is not something this world could take. Her power threatened most and they ridiculed her out of fear and inferiority complexes.

The building of the Osho Community at America and its smooth functioning was her forte and life mission for years. Doubtlessly she was ready to give up her life to fulfill the dream & experiment of her illuminated Master. She knew he was juvenile and transparent….fragile at the same time and fiercely protected him from the sandstorms & hurricanes of world life.

It is indeed sad that in spite of such virtues, she remains a mystery and a favorite critic corner to this date. Even her own master doubted her loyalty and called her ways in sensible and morally incorrect. Maybe some legends are shrouded in darkness but their genius lives on…..
