The full moon is a wonderful time to connect with ourselves deeply and spend a good intimate time, healing, recouping and reorienting ourselves to the ever-new dynamic fluxes of our life.
Just like how the moon becomes full and then void, we also go through the phases of feeling at the top of the world and then finding ourselves low and inadequate. If we can remain neutral witnesses to our states of transition without identifying with them, we can transcend in a certain way and remain unfettered by our changing circumstances.

The auspicious karthigai deepam full moon of today also inspires us to remain as our wholesome self which is the balanced fusion of the Shiva and Shakti elements within us.
Some easy full moon rituals can help us recalibrate and reboot our systems for the best that is yet to come…

1. Journalling: it’s a great healing experience to release our hurts, scars and also to write down our positive points and qualities we may be focussing to develop. Sadhana and reading goals can be revamped and cycles of 21/40/108 days to work with certain practices with discipline can help us go deeper into our authentic experiences with our own sadhanas. Short term and long term goals, ambitions and strategies can be penned point-wise and clearly give us a clear road map
2. Cleaning and charging personal aura, spaces and crystals
It’s a wonderful time for detoxification and cleansing. Saltwater baths, smudging ur own personal spaces and cleaning and charging crystals in moonlight can be practised.
3. Positive affirmations for yourself and others can be made and charged using energy healings like reiki, chantings and prayers.
4. Mantra chanting and singing of devotional hymns or recitation of powerful stotras like saundarya lahiri, Lalitasahasranama etc can be very beneficial
5. Meditations, yoga Nidra practices and spending time doing things slowly and with full awareness can be wonderful resetting practices.
So have a wonderful full moon. Love yourself and others
