The satori….
In the dimly lit shadows,
That lurked at my heart’s windows,
I happened to presence a visitor.
It was a different evening.
I had packed up early
And retired to my reminiscences, fears, and failures.
The past previous days had scraped and scarred me.
I needed to discover my oblivion
And brood a little on life.
So, here I was, all set to dissolve.
Who was it at this forsaken hour
This so very unwanted visitor?
I sighed a heavy breath
And moved reluctantly to d door.
I still had a second chance of rejecting this advance.
With a dilemma still pregnant in me,
I creaked open the door.
I was greeted instantly
By a light that streamed through my heart.
A deep stillness enveloped my raging mind,
Overwhelming compassion burst out in every cell,
All lifetime attachments, put together
Had not satieted me such.
Everything was now completely complete.
I rushed outside to boast of this glory,
Alas, I had lost my voice.

Wonderful indeed. Satori leaves a powerful mark which is beyond attachments of life times.
