THE MIRROR OF DEVI! (Poem)
Like the waxing and waning moon,
My longing to connect with you
takes on desires for your many forms.
The mooring mind has too many lusts
and you have no denial towards their fulfilment.
You do not shun my mind like this cruel world.
You educate it lovingly and subtly.
Your karuna is so endearing,
your love is so pure and forgiving!
Someday, you entice me with your erotica,
then you snug me close like a mother (LALITATRIPURASUNDARI)
Someday, you split open my veins
to bleed me to near-death (CHINNAMASTA)
At others, you light aflame
the pyre of my ego. (KAALI)
From Lalita to Chinnamasta to Bhairavi to Kaali,
you do not hesitate in booning my life
As I seek you, You seek me too,
until you make me face a mirror
and see them all as ME!
(Inspired by this lighted lamp of Bhairavi which turned ash black. making me know the transformation from Bhairavi to Kaali!)
